I want. We got some over a month ago, but then it got warm again. A slight dusting a couple days ago, not even enough to be worth shovelling, was not enough.

I’m too much of a tightass to hoon in summer, snowy days are beautiful and rainy days suck, and snow is for so much more than pavement hooning.

Bring it on, I work in a tourist town that has a few ski resorts. More snow, ski slopes open, work gets busy again.

I like driving in snow, but that’s the only thing I like about winter.
I hate shoveling. I hate clearing off my windows. I hate scraping ice. I hate being cold. I hate having to wear thick coats. I hate smelling like 2-stroke mix after snow blowing. I hate slush. I hate having cold wet feet. I hate having to wear gloves, which never fit because my fingers are so out of proportion to the size of my palm. I hate so much of it.

I’m not a fan of shoveling (if someone says they are they’re lying) but I’m happy for any opportunity to use any kind of snowblower. Scraping ice can get stuffed. I don’t like being cold, but that can be fixed with clothing or physical activity. I don’t mind thick coats. That said can they PLEASE STOP ALREADY with the silky liners in coat sleeves--they get sweaty and uncomfortable so fast. Funny, I think there’s something magical about the smell of small engine exhaust in the cold air. Slush is absolutely horrible. Cold wet feet... not pleasant, but I can deal with it. I went through the ice on a winter hike once... walking through fresh snow dries most of it pretty quick. On gloves... oddly I hate wearing them for protection, but I have no issues wearing them for the cold.

I used to like the smell of the exhaust, but as I’ve gotten older it has started giving me headaches and making me feel just generally crappy. Same for diesel fumes.
I don’t like winter, but you won’t catch me bitching about it incandescently like so many people.
